Our name comes from the Latin word for eagle - Aquila - a symbol of vision, focus, and strength. These are the qualities we bring to every partnership.

AJ Mohammed

Managing Director

AJ is a talent and business leader with over 15 years of experience building and leading talent solutions businesses, while advising organisations on complex, global workforce challenges. ​

He has held senior leadership positions within global talent advisory and workforce solutions firms, where he has been responsible for growth strategy, client solutions, and delivery across multiple regions and industries. His experience spans permanent recruitment, RPO, MSP, and bespoke talent advisory, with a strong focus on aligning talent strategy to broader business outcomes.​

In recent years, AJ has focused on building and scaling innovative talent solutions, partnering closely with executive stakeholders to navigate skills shortages, market expansion, and organisational transformation. He is particularly passionate about developing practical,  data‑driven talent strategies that drive measurable impact and enable long-term workforce success.​

AJ Mohammed

Managing Director

With over 15 years’ experience in talent solutions, AJ has designed, implemented, and operated global solutions for some of the world’s premier companies. Over the past 6 years, AJ built Morgan McKinley’s talent solutions business in APAC into an award-winning business and a market leader in the region.

 

Previously, AJ managed global direct delivery for Robert Walters onsite at leading financial institutions in London delivering over 6000 hires per annum.

Colin Webster

CEO, The Fiser Group

Colin is an engineering graduate from St Edmund  Hall, Oxford, with over 30 years' business experience, 20 of which have involved senior leadership positions in human capital.

After graduating, Colin spent 6 months volunteering at a school for the deaf in Bolivia before starting a 9  year career at EY, training in audit before diversifying into consultancy, M&A advisory and graduate recruitment and training.  He spent 2 years on secondment to EY's Cape Town office during this  time.

After advising the recruitment group Imprint on  its IPO, Colin joined its board as CFO in 2004 and oversaw its growth  from a £0.3m profit business to a 500-person group with turnover of £90m  and profits of £12m, before its sale in 2008.  In 2010, Colin co-founded The FISER Group and has been instrumental in its growth over the past 14 years as a  financial services and technology specialist covering executive search, consultancy and contingent recruitment solutions.

Gary is a detail‑oriented talent acquisition professional with more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning, cost optimisation, and team leadership. He has a proven track record of driving growth and client satisfaction across multiple sectors and industries, including life sciences, manufacturing, technology, financial services, and energy.​

He excels in developing effective talent acquisition strategies, optimising operational performance, and leveraging cutting‑edge recruitment technologies and data analytics. Gary is also highly skilled in navigating complex regulatory and compliance environments and fostering long‑term partnerships with C‑Suite leaders and key stakeholders.​

Steve is an accomplished global sales executive with more than 30 years of experience driving growth across project RPO and multi‑region talent solutions within the life sciences, manufacturing, technology, and financial services sectors.​

He specialises in new logo acquisition and in building trusted, long‑standing relationships with C‑Suite leaders and key stakeholders. With extensive expertise in managing, designing, and selling best‑in‑class talent solutions, Steve has supported start‑ups, mid‑market organisations, and large enterprises in accelerating consultative sales and elevating solution design.​

Steve has a proven track record of navigating complex enterprise environments and delivering scalable,high‑impact talent strategies that enable sustainable growth.​

Director, Head of APAC

Rob is a Talent Solutions business leader with more than 11 years of experience designing and delivering talent solutions across APAC and EMEA.​

He has held senior regional leadership roles within specialist recruitment and workforce solutions firms, where he has been responsible for scaling RPO services, strengthening client partnerships, and managing multi‑market delivery operations.​

Rob’s experience spans permanent recruitment, RPO, and bespoke talent advisory, with particular expertise supporting technology and shipping & logistics clients.​

In recent years, he has focused on building and scaling innovative, technology‑enabled talent solutions, partnering closely with executive stakeholders to address skills shortages, drive market expansion, and enable organisational transformation. He is passionate about practical, data‑driven approaches that align talent strategy with business outcomes and deliver measurable hiring impact.​

Maralene is a Solutions Professional with more than 10 years of experience in HR services, including over 5 years designing and implementing innovative talent solutions across diverse industries. She brings a proven ability to develop scalable, strategic, and high‑impact workforce strategies, consistently focused on elevating the human experience behind every hiring decision.​

She is known for her energy, expertise, and strong track record in delivering complex RPO and MSP solutions for some of the world’s leading organisations. Equally defining is her commitment to building strong collaborations and partnerships—Maralene firmly believes that exceptional outcomes stem from genuine connection, shared purpose, and uniting diverse stakeholders around a common vision.​
